What is involved in placing an order for "Special Order" Piero Guidi merchandise?
ItalyHandbags.com offers, through special order, just about every piece of Piero Guidi's current seasonal items.
Shipment and Transit Times:
In order to keep costs as low as possible, Italyhandbags.com does not place an order for these current season special order items until you place your order through us. When we receive your order, we contact Piero Guidi, at which time they manufacture your specific handbag, wallet, etc. This process usually takes about five business days. When Piero Guidi has manufactured your item, they contact us to inform us that the item will be shipped overseas to our facility in Alpharetta, Georgia. We usually receive the item within a few business days. ItalyHandbags.com then inspects the item to insure it is free from defects or damage sustained during shipping. We then carefully package your item and immediately ship it to you. At this point, you would receive an email from us informing you of the shipment and will provide you with a tracking number for the package. Total time in transit from order placement to delivery at your location can be up to 15 business days.
Returns and Guarantees:
In order to offer you these low prices for Piero Guidi's Special Order items, Piero Guidi will not ship these items to us until they first receive payment. As well, Piero Guidi does not permit us to send Special Order items back to them after we have placed the order with them. Therefore, we cannot accept returns for any Special Order item once you have placed the order, as we cannot return the item ourselves.
You can feel confident that we only offer new and authentic items for sale. At ItalyHandbags.com, we purchase all of our inventory directly from Piero Guidi, not a third party. Every piece of merchandise we carry is first-quality, not factory seconds or imperfects. As well, ItalyHandbags.com fully guarantees its advertised products against defects and damages prior to shipping your order. We carefully inspect each item as it is packaged for shipment to you and provide shipping insurance for the full value of every item. If you should receive an item from us that does not meet these standards, you have 7 days from the time of your receipt to notify us of the problem. Depending on the shipping company you choose upon checkout, claims for damage incurred during shipping will be claimed by us, as the sender, or by you, as the recipient. In either situation, you will not be responsible for any damage that is found to be the fault of the shipping company.
Items received as damaged must be reported within 7 days of receipt.
